iOS Tips & Suggestions

Some Helpful Hints

1. Save Often
Better safe than sorry, as the saying goes. The save feature will only be available in Glamzy Pro.

2. Zoom Is Your Friend
Don't forget that you can zoom in to do some detail work. If you click the apply tab, it will change to zoom. You can then pinch and reverse pinch the screen to zoom in and out.

3. White It Out
You can use a white color like an eraser. This allows the size, edge, and opacity to be adjustable. This is probably one of the most important tips for getting great results with Glamzy. The brush functionality is limited, so why not just use your base color to erase color. I usually use one of the whites found in the eye shadow, or go back to my foundation to cover up a mistake.

4. Flip Your Device
Don't be afraid to turn your device upside down or sideways to get a better view of what you're doing. When you're trying to do some detail work it may be best to just flip your device around to see what you are doing.

5. Blend Baby Blend
Create soft blends, highlights, and gradients for depth. For those of you who are professionals, you already know this stuff, but don't forget that it works the same on a digital face too. In fact, it maybe more important when making a flat surface look 3D.

6. Let There Be Light
Turn your devices brightness all the way up. It's common for mobile users to have their devices brightness as low as possible to preserve battery life, but when working with Glamzy, The Brighter The Better. Having your screens brightness up will allow you to see the colors better, and give a better idea of what's going on with your blending. It will also make the subtle colors more visible.

7. Tap Dance
To apply makeup lightly tap your screen. This will prevent heavier darker colors. This will also help with blending and creating smoother, softer looks.
